Celica

The Celica is a high performance sports car from Toyota Motor Corp. The Celica has been in market since 1970, when it was first launched. IT is one of the most loved sports models from Toyota. Over the years, the car has seen many changes. Though most of the versions were built around the inline-4 engines,there have been changes in the drivetrain and the design. The early models came with a rear wheel drive which was changed to front wheel drive in '86. The GT-4 or All-Trac came with 4WD.

The car is available in coupe or convertible variants. The 2007 Celica comes with 2 models Celica GT, Celica GT-S. The design of the car sharp and aggressive looking with a newly designed front grille opening and tail lights. It also comes with large multi-reflector halogen headlamps, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, drilled aluminum sport pedals, racy instrument cluster, 6-way adjustable front seats, JBL 3-in-1 audio system. Further, the car can be made even more sporty with the Celica Action Package that comes with aero front and rear bumpers, rocker panels and other design enhancements that give the car a low and mean sports car look.

The Celica GT is packed with a 1.8-liter, DOHC VVT-i , 16 valves and 4-cylinder engine and the GT-S comes with 1.8-liter, DOHC VVTL-i engine. The suspension is the reliable independent McPherson struts for the front and double-wishbone rear suspension. Both the cars come with 6-speed manual transmission. 10.8-inch ventilated front disc brakes, power steering, dual front air bags, side-impact air bags and door beams among other standard features.
