Toyota Liteace is a mid size van from the Toyota lineup. The Liteace was first launched in 1970. NOwadays, the Liteace is replaced by Toyota Noah. The Liteace has been popular as a commercial vehicle in many countries of Asia and Africa. Over the years, Toyota gave Liteace a more elegant and stylish MPV design and was called the Toyota Liteace Noah. This MPV was later renamed as Toyota Noah, removing the Liteace name from it, which is more recognized as a commercial vehicle. The body style of the Liteace is related to the Hi ace as well as Granvia, the other MPV's from Toyota. The LiteAce is also available as a pickup truck too. The Van is fitted with a 2.0L gasoline engine with a choice of 5 speed manual or automatic transmission. Although not the best in terms of comfort, the Liteace is a very practical vehicle. The engine of the van is very sturdy and responsive. The van is ideal for large families as well as camping excursions or family outings. It is also a very good commercial vehicle. The Liteace is available in a variety of trim levels and body styles. Although the luxury versions are also available, the barebones one are best for hard use. For luxury, the Noah is a better bet.
