The Toyota Sienta is a mini MPV sold only in the Japanese markets. The car was introduced in sept 2003 in Japan. The car is well known for its distinctive styling. The Sienta is manufactured on the same platform as that of the Vitz. The vehicle is a 7 seater with 5 doors. The styling of the car is quite like the Twingo from Renault. The Sienta is marketed by Toyota under the WELCAB style. The Sienta also looks quite small from outside but is pretty spacious from inside. Although, because of the size, seven adults sitting in the car may not experience a very comfortable ride, it provides enough legroom for the rear passengers. Here also, the best seats are the front two. The best features of the vehicle are the removable seats and other retractable parts. The last row of seats can be removed to create a huge boot space or to accommodate a wheelchair. The dimensions of the minivan are 4100 mm length, 1695 mm width and 1680 mm height. The Sienta is fitted with a 1.5L gasoline engines and comes with 4 speed super CVT automatic transmission. Both 2WD as well as 4WD versions are available. The car is also packed with safety features such as dual airbags and ABS among others. |
